For 28 years, Angel Flight NE has been blessed with coordinating fundraising events to raise funds and awareness for our mission. Many individuals, companies and civic organizations have held their own event to benefit our vital mission.
Fundraising events ranging from dinners, runs, walks, cycling, golfing, bowling, snowmobiling, dancing competitions and much more to – even an annual lemonade stand held by friends of a patient are held to raise funds and awareness for our mission.
For every dollar raised, we are able to provide $5 in free medical air transportation services.
Missions can take anywhere from several hours to several days to coordinate depending on its complexity. Each flight costs us anywhere between $300 to $500 to schedule.
When general aviation is not an option, we also have instances where we need to purchase commercial airlines tickets which can be costly and funds raised from events assist us with deferring those costs.
We love to collaborate with those who are coordinating fundraising events to benefit our mission. From promoting it on social media, in our weekly newsletter to creating specific event donation pages, we want to ensure that third-party events go off without a hitch and we are there throughout the process to support and make it as successful as possible.
