Maine patient battling ultra-rare disorder requiring regular treatments in Boston

Diagnosed with rare & aggressive cancer, Rebecca asked AFNE for assistance to travel from VT to Texas for life-saving treatment.

We are beyond thrilled to announce that Ed has completed an incredible milestone for Angel Flight NE's mission ~ 700 Flights of Healing and Hope.

With the help of The Alexion Charitable Foundation and our generous AFNE Volunteer Pilots, Henry - a three-year old from Vermont - is able to travel to Boston Children's Hospital for an evaluation for a rare condition.

With the help of JetBlue, the Maine Cancer Foundation and our generous AFNE Volunteer Pilots,– Jonathan, a Veteran from Maine, has travelled on nearly 80 Angel Flights since July 2021 to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for numerous appointments & surgeries.

AFNE's mission/flight coordination team has scheduled more than 40 flights of healing and hope along with ground transportation so Ed can travel safely and conveniently.

Zea was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma at 3 months and has been traveling from Miami, FL to New York for treatment with the help of AFNE's mission/flight coordination team.

With the generosity and compassion of volunteer pilots, like Angel Flight NE pilot Shakeel (pink hat), Erika has been flown for over 30 years to access the specialized care & treatments she needs for her rare, multi-faceted diagnosis.

With the amazing support of our volunteer pilots, Yehuda is able to travel from New York to Boston often times weekly to receive the medical care he needs at Shriner's Hospital. Since 2021, our mission/flight coordinators have scheduled over 75 missions of healing and hope for him..

Raya has been able to travel via 10 free flights of healing and hope in just a month along with ground transportation to travel from Frenchville, ME to Boston, MA so she can receive treatment at Mass General Hospital for a rare form of Brain Cancer.
