In May 2021, Yehuda’s medical team in New York highly recommended to his mom that he meet with surgeons located at Shriner’s Children’s Boston.  Long drives in the car are extremely uncomfortable for him and the price to fly via commercial airlines was cost prohibitive for his family.  A case worker at Shriners informed his mother about Angel Flight NE’s FREE air transportation services and since her first call to our mission /flight coordination team, we have been able to coordinate 85+ flights of hope and healing so he can receive the care he needs and deserves

Through the generosity of our volunteer pilots and supporters, we are here for Yehuda and his family every step of the way. As they continue on this journey, we stand ready to assist them for as long as they need.

His mother, Nechama, shared:
“We are very blessed to have real angels helping us who have literally changed our lives. From our first call in 2021, they immediately responded, ‘Please don’t worry any more about your travel. We’re here to help you for as long and as often as you need our help.’ Knowing that they could help us anytime there is a hospital visit with not only air transportation but also ground transportation provided us so much peace and assurance. There are no words to describe what a difference Angel Flight NE’s mission is making in our lives.

Recently, I’ve noticed the traveling was hard on Yehuda and I asked him what the best and easiest way for him to get to the hospital is. With no hesitation he answered me right away, flying on a jet, I love my Angel Flights!’

There is so much love, dedication, and warmth we feel every time we are assisted by Angel Flight NE. When we meet the volunteer pilots, they always provide us with an outstanding level of care! We appreciate it so much! Your mission is so important for sick patients, especially children, like Yehuda, and their families, and the relief you’re bringing to the lives of these children is enormous. We love you!”
