Happy Fall! This year has flown by – time to enjoy pumpkin spice lattes, the splendor of the leaves changing, and cool crisp air. We’re all looking forward to the excitement of the holidays, family festivities, and making lasting memories.

This Thursday – we’d like you to meet Chaim (age 8) and his mother Bryne from Pomona, NY who travel to world renowned Shriners Boston for specialized burn treatment. We had the opportunity to meet Chaim and Bryne on their first Angel Flight NE trip when they travelled through Angel Flight NE’s Headquarters in August. Since that first trip – we’ve coordinated ten (10) flights with corresponding ground transportation for Chaim and his mother/father! More than half have been covered by Michael H. based at FRG.

Both Bill & Michael have been instrumental with their support of our mission! Bill has flown 485 Angel Flight Missions & Michael has flown 395 Angel Flights! Truly unbelievable!

The family has follow-up appointments scheduled, and we have assured them that Angel Flight NE will be here to assist them for as long and as often as they need our help. This is just one example of how our mission with the support of our amazing volunteer pilots, along with you, is making a difference in the lives of our patients and their families. We are truly blessed!

Mission/Flight requests – like Chaim – happen daily and we are privileged to have the opportunity to not only fly but deeply care for all who turn to us for help at difficult times in their lives.
